Dr. Peter Brink is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at Lakehead University, serving as Gerontology Coordinator and graduate program coordinator for MHSc, MPH, and PhD programs. He specializes in aging, gerontology, and health disparities affecting vulnerable populations including LGBT communities.

- MA in Experimental Psychology, Lakehead University (2004)
- HBA in Psychology, Lakehead University (2002)
His research focuses on physical, psychological, and spiritual determinants of hospital use among terminally ill home care clients, institutional challenges for LGBT seniors in long-term care, and sexuality/sexual expression among LGBT residents in care facilities. He supervises graduate students in aging/gerontology, LGBT and Aging, and Palliative Care.
