Peter Bofinger is Professor for Monetary Policy and International Economics at the University of Würzburg and Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), London. His career includes positions as Economist at the Deutsche Bundesbank, Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and the IMF, and professorships at the Universities of Kaiserslautern and Konstanz. From 2004 to 2019 he served as a member of the German Council of Economic Experts.
