Peter Boelen is a Researcher at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Science and Engineering, affiliated with the Biomimetics department. His work focuses on environmental biotechnology, particularly leveraging microalgae and diatoms for sustainable applications such as biofuel production, bioremediation of palm oil mill effluent, and nutrient recycling.
