Peter Asuata is a Lecturer in Business and Management at the University of Sunderland, affiliated with the Faculty of Business, Law, and Tourism since 2020. He holds a PhD in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from the University of Sunderland, alongside a Master's in Business Management and a BSc in Business Management from Heriot-Watt University. His research focuses on CSR's impact on financial performance, SMEs' CSR practices, consumer perception of CSR, employee engagement, emerging markets' CSR implementation, sustainable supply chains, and CSR reporting transparency. He teaches modules including UGB224 Business Management, UGB269 Innovation Management, and supervises master's dissertations.
As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Peter combines academic rigor with practical experience in company management and charity work. He has established three companies to support communities and provide employment. His commitment to education extends to fostering inclusive and dynamic learning environments, reflecting his dedication to societal impact beyond academia.
