Peter Arrow is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia (UWA), based in the Dental School within the Oral Developmental and Behavioural Sciences department. His research focuses on pediatric dentistry, oral health disparities, and preventive dental care, particularly among Indigenous and Aboriginal communities in remote areas. He has contributed to studies on cost-effectiveness of dental treatments, motivational interviewing for caries prevention, and the impact of enamel defects on primary teeth.
He leads the NHMRC-funded project 'The use of Silver Fluoride and Teledentistry to manage and prevent childhood dental decay among Aboriginal children in remote communities (2024–2029)', aiming to improve access to dental care through innovative methods.
