Peter Andersson Lilja is an Associate Professor of Nordic Languages and Senior Lecturer in Swedish with a specialization in linguistics at the University of Borås. He is affiliated with the Department of Educational Work within the Faculty of Librarianship, Information, Education and IT. His research focuses on language change and development, particularly using corpus studies to analyze verb constructions like pseudo-coordinations (e.g., 'gå och gifta sig'). He also investigates children's language development in preschool contexts, including a current interdisciplinary project funded by the Swedish Research Council examining narrative abilities in multilingual children. Qualitative and quantitative methods are central to his work.
