Dr. Peter Admirand is Deputy Head of the School of Theology, Philosophy and Music, Associate Professor of Theology, and Director of the Centre for Interreligious Dialogue at Dublin City University. He is also Christian Co-Chair of the Irish Council of Christians and Jews.
His research explores interreligious dialogue (especially Jewish-Christian and atheist-theist dialogues), post-Shoah theology, religion in comics/graphic novels, and ethics in mass atrocity contexts. He employs interdisciplinary approaches bridging theology, literature, and popular culture.
Recent publications analyze theological themes in graphic novels (e.g., The Last of Us, Saga) and interfaith dialogue methodologies. His work consistently addresses themes of forgiveness, redemption, and ethical responses to violence.
