Professor Peter A. Joy is a renowned expert in Legal Ethics, Clinical Legal Education, Criminal Justice, and Trial Practice at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. He serves as the Director of the Criminal Justice Clinic, supervising student-lawyers in client representation and collaborating with public defenders. His academic leadership includes roles as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs (2018-2020), inaugural director of the Trial & Advocacy Program (2002-2006), and extensive service on national committees such as the ABA Section of Legal Education and AALS Sections.
