Perveez Mody is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow & Director of Studies at King's College. Her research focuses on the anthropology of love, kinship, gender, sexuality, and care, with ethnographic fieldwork conducted primarily in Delhi and among South Asian communities in the United Kingdom.
Her work has pioneered courses on care and kinship, fostering international workshops and collaborative publications. Current projects explore the politics of love and intimacy, reflecting her long-term engagement with these themes.
