Perrin C. White

Perrin C. White is a Principal Investigator in Pediatric Endocrinology at the Children's Endocrinology Center, affiliated with Children's Medical Center in Dallas, TX. His research focuses on the molecular basis of genetic diseases affecting steroid hormone synthesis and metabolism, as well as diabetes.

Dr. White's research spans rare genetic diseases, such as those impacting salt conservation and nervous system development. His lab discovered a key cell-surface molecule critical for nervous system development, mutations in which cause seizures, deafness, and progressive blindness (Usher syndrome).
