Pericle Perazzo is a cybersecurity researcher at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Pisa, Italy. Since 2017, he has been a Researcher focusing on post-quantum cryptography, blockchain technologies, attribute-based encryption, and IoT security. He is a member of the TEACUP cybersecurity group and the quantum UNIPI research group, and contributes to teaching and training activities in cybersecurity.

Research Interests:
His research spans critical areas of cybersecurity, particularly in the Internet of Things. He investigates post-quantum cryptographic protocols to secure future IoT deployments, designs scalable attribute-based encryption schemes for resource-constrained devices, and explores blockchain applications in smart cities and industrial IoT. His work also addresses secure routing, localization, and privacy preservation in wireless networks.
Scientific Awards:
- Best Paper Award at S-CUBE 2014 for the paper "HUMsim: A Privacy-Oriented Human Mobility Simulator"
Labs and Teams:
He actively collaborates within the TEACUP cybersecurity research group and the quantum UNIPI research group. He also serves as a trainer for the University of Pisa's hacking team in the national CyberChallenge competition, mentoring students in cybersecurity skills.
