Atefeh Mashatan

Dr. Atefeh Mashatan is an Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Quality of Security (QoS) Framework for IoT at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). As the founding director of the Cybersecurity Research Lab (CRL), her research focuses on IoT security, quantum-resistant solutions, and blockchain technology. She holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and is certified in CISSP and SOA. Her work bridges academia, industry, and policy, addressing cybersecurity challenges in emerging technologies.
