Per Arne Helland is a Lecturer in Nordic Languages, specializing in Norwegian, at the Department of Nordic Languages, Uppsala University. He focuses on teaching neighboring Nordic languages and is currently pursuing a doctoral thesis on the dialects of Härjedalen. His academic career has been based at Uppsala University since 2004, where he also serves as a doctoral student.
