Per Andersson is a Professor at Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), affiliated with the Department of Marketing and Strategy and the Center for Security and Resilience. His research focuses on digital transformation processes since the early 2000s, with a recent emphasis on AI's impact on organizations and business strategy. Key areas include AI-driven operational efficiency, business model innovation, customer value creation, and cross-industry challenges in AI adoption. He teaches in SSE's Master in Business Management (MBM) program, including the course Business Creation and Development.
Research Interests: Per's work addresses three core challenges: (1) translating AI insights into revenue-generating services, (2) organizational impacts of AI adoption in back- and front-office functions, and (3) systemic shifts in industries due to AI-driven ecosystems.
