Pepe Romero

Pepe Romero serves as an Adjunct Professor of Classical Guitar at the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music. A founding member of the world-renowned guitar ensemble The Romeros, he represents a multi-generational legacy in classical guitar performance established with his father Celedonio Romero and brothers.

His artistic specialization centers on classical guitar mastery across solo recitals, orchestral collaborations, and quartet performance. Romero has profoundly influenced the repertoire through commissions from composers including Joaquín Rodrigo and Federico Moreno Torroba, expanding the technical and expressive boundaries of the instrument while maintaining deep connections to Spanish musical traditions.

Romero's exceptional contributions have earned distinguished recognition:
