Peng Peng is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art and Archaeology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), affiliated with the Faculty of Arts. His research focuses on the art, archaeology, and material culture of ancient East Asia, particularly Bronze Age metalworking technologies. He has authored books such as Metalworking in Bronze Age China: The Lost-Wax Process (2020) and is currently working on Bronze Casting in Early China under contract with Amsterdam University Press.
Education: Ph.D. (year unspecified). Research grants include RGC Early Career Scheme (HKD 557,000) and multiple CUHK Direct Grants for Research. Awards include the Faculty of Arts Outstanding Teaching Award (2021) and Chiang Ching-Kuo Foundation Doctoral Fellowship (2017–2018).
