As founding editor of the innovative Flat Out magazine, she expands architectural criticism through literary experimentation with recurring fictional personas.
Her scholarly recognition includes:
- Visiting Scholar Fellowship at Canadian Centre for Architecture
- Scholar-in-Residence Fellowship at Newberry Library
Research support comes from the National Endowment for the Arts, Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts, and UIC's Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research. She is actively developing two book manuscripts exploring the intersection of architecture with business and management theories across different historical periods.
Her editorial leadership of Flat Out constitutes a unique creative platform where architectural criticism manifests through narrative devices rather than conventional academic formats, reflecting her commitment to expanding critical discourse beyond traditional boundaries.
