Peiyao Chen is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the College of Wooster. Her research focuses on language processing, bilingualism, and the interplay between language and cognition, with a particular emphasis on cultural influences on multisensory perception and emotion recognition. She has published in journals like Cultural Diversity and Ethnic Minority Psychology and Languages, earning a Best Paper Award of 2022 for her work on bilingual emotion perception. Her professional affiliations include the Psychonomic Society and the Cognitive Science Society.
