Peili Pey is a PhD Candidate in Geography at the University of Cambridge and a part-time Lecturer/Teaching Assistant in Sociology at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Their research focuses on urban green initiatives, integrating governance, metabolic, and machinic perspectives to explore environmental sustainability in cities. They are a member of the Infrastructural Geographies research group and supervised by Prof. Ash Amin.

Research Interests:
- Urban responses to climate crisis, including eco-cities and smart green initiatives
- Hybrid perspectives combining governance, metabolic processes, and machinic approaches
- Redefining relationships between urban infrastructures, people, and nature
