Professor Peggy Mok is a prominent academic in the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where she also serves as Associate Dean (Student Affairs) within the Faculty of Arts. She holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge and has dedicated her career to experimental phonetics, focusing on speech production/perception, prosody, bilingualism, and forensic phonetics.

Her work explores vowel-to-vowel coarticulation, tone sandhi, and L2/L3 speech acquisition.

Advising & Labs: Supervised over 20 graduate students in phonetics and psycholinguistics. Active in the Childhood Bilingualism Research Centre. Editor for journals like Phonetica and Journal of Phonetics.
