Pedro Santos Sousa

Pedro Santos Sousa is a Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Nanostructured Solar Cells within the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), affiliated with the Sadewasser Research Group. His research centers on advancing flexible Cu(In,Ga)Se₂ (CIGS) thin-film solar cells, with expertise in fabrication, materials characterization, and renewable energy applications.

He holds an MSc in Micro and Nanotechnology Engineering from NOVA School of Science and Technology, where he specialized in micro/nanofabrication techniques and renewable energy technologies. His thesis at INL pioneered hydrogen-doped indium oxide for transparent conductive oxides in bifacial/tandem CIGS solar cells.
