Neha Kumari serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Fellow at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), contributing to the Nanostructured Solar Cells research group within the Sadewasser Research Group. Her current project, supported by the GreenAuto PRR agenda, pioneers photovoltaic cell integration into textile substrates for flexible energy applications.
She earned her Ph.D. in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, where her doctoral research optimized Cu2ZnSnS4 interfaces for photovoltaic devices. Her academic journey established expertise in semiconductor material engineering for solar energy conversion.
Neha's research spans Photovoltaics, Thin Film Solar Cells, and Chalcogenide Semiconductors, with specialized focus on solution-based and vacuum deposition techniques for absorber layers like Cu(In,Ga)Se2 and AgBiS2. She employs advanced characterization methods to analyze material properties critical for charge carrier separation in solar cells. Her current work targets low-temperature processing to enable textile-integrated photovoltaics, addressing challenges in flexible and wearable solar technology.
As a core member of the Sadewasser Research Group, she advances INL's mission in nanotechnology-driven energy solutions through experimental innovation in absorber layer development and device integration.
