Pedro J Diaz-Marchan

Dr. Pedro J. Diaz-Marchan is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Baylor College of Medicine, serving as Chief of Neuroradiology at Baylor College of Medicine and Ben Taub Hospital, and Associate Chair for Education in Radiology. He completed his BS at Loyola University of New Orleans (1981), MD at University of Puerto Rico (1985), residency at University of Puerto Rico affiliate hospitals (1986–1990), and Neuroradiology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine/The Methodist Hospital (1990–1992). He holds certifications in Radiology and Neuroradiology from the American Board of Radiology. His professional interests include Neuroradiology, neuroanatomy, brain tumors, advanced imaging, and medical education leadership.

Dr. Diaz-Marchan has led educational initiatives as Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Neuroradiology Fellowship programs. He has received multiple teaching awards, including 1999 and 2008 Teacher of the Year from Baylor’s Radiology Department, and the 2013 A3CR2 Outstanding Teacher Award. His memberships include the American College of Radiology (Fellow, 2015), American Society of Neuroradiology, and Radiological Society of North America.
