Pedro Duarte Silva

Pedro Duarte Silva is an Associate Professor at Católica Porto Business School, Universidade Católica Portuguesa. His research focuses on statistical methods for distributional and interval data, developing parametric models and classification techniques. Recent work includes developing the MAINT.Data R package for interval data analysis and investigating outlier detection methodologies.

As part of the Research Center in Management and Economics (CEGE), he contributes to methodological advances in data analysis with applications to management science. Current projects examine optimization approaches for classification problems and symbolic data analysis for official statistics.
