معرفی
Pedram Azizi serves as a Researcher at the University of Rostock, currently affiliated with the Chair of Microfluidics since July 2020. Previously, he held research positions at the Chair of Wind Energy Technology from July 2018 to July 2020, and during his Master's studies worked there as both research and teaching assistant.
His academic journey includes a Master's degree in Computational Science and Engineering (specializing in Computational Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Rostock (2018), preceded by undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering in Iran focusing on Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer. His research expertise spans computational mechanics with core competencies in CFD, FEM, and FSI methodologies.
Research initiatives highlight his dual focus: in wind energy, he developed aerodynamic profiles for vertical axis turbines and control systems for floating offshore platforms; currently in biomechanics, he advances multiphysics models for cartilage stimulation within Collaborative Research Center ELAINE. His work consistently integrates numerical simulation with practical engineering applications across renewable energy and biomedical domains.
He maintains active supervision of student projects in wind turbine aerodynamics and participates in third-party funded research. Current affiliations center on the Chair of Microfluidics within the University of Rostock's engineering faculty, contributing to interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of mechanical engineering and life sciences.
