Pe'er Dar

Pe'er Dar, MD is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Women’s Health at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Director of Fetal Medicine and OBGYN Ultrasound at Montefiore. He specializes in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Clinical Genetics, and Fetal Surgery, with a focus on prenatal diagnosis and management of fetal abnormalities.

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (1986) from Tel-Aviv University, followed by residency and fellowship training at Assaf Harofeh Hospital, Montefiore-Einstein, and international fetal surgery centers.

Research Focus: Dr. Dar leads international multicenter studies in fetal medicine, non-invasive prenatal screening (cell-free DNA), placenta accreta spectrum, and ultrasound applications in obstetrics.
