Paweł Kłos

Dr. Paweł Kłos is a Lecturer at the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law, Faculty of Law and Administration, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS). He serves as the Director of the UMCS Academic Mediation Center and focuses on interdisciplinary research connecting law with psychology, linguistics, sociology, and neuroscience.

• Research Interests: Practical and theoretical approaches to ADR; applications of AI in legal systems; decision analysis frameworks; logic in legal reasoning; modeling social reality through linguistic and functional methods.
• Projects: Participated in "Reagowanie w trudnych sytuacjach" (2023) under UMCS's Teaching Excellence Program; led "Rozproszona sytuacja decyzyjna w mediacji" (2022) with UMCS Minigrant funding; organized ADR workshops (2016) with Polskie Centrum Mediacji.
• International Engagements: Visiting Assistant Professor at Chuo University's Institute of Comparative Law (Tokyo, April 2024); Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM) host under COST Action CA 20123 IGCOORD (Budapest, May 2023).
