Pawel Odyniec is a Lecturer in Religious Studies Research at Karlstad University. He specializes in Indian philosophy and South Asian religions, with a focus on Advaita Vedānta, Yoga, and Kashmir Śaivism. His research examines classical Sanskrit sources alongside their reception in early modern and modern Hindi/English texts, addressing colonial and postcolonial intellectual frameworks.
He holds three MA degrees in Philosophy, History of Religions, and Indian Philosophy and Religion. His work bridges intercultural philosophy and global perspectives on religious thought. Publications include analyses of K.C. Bhattacharyya's confrontative philosophy and modern interpretations of Advaita Vedānta.
