Pavle Joksovic is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. He holds a Medical Doctorate from the University of Belgrade (1998), completed residency at Yale University (2012), and a fellowship in Psychiatry Education & Training at Yale (2013). His research focuses on psychiatric pharmacology, neurotoxic effects of anesthetics in developing brains, and clinical case studies involving drug-induced pathologies.
Key professional achievements include the 2014 Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA) and a National APA Award. His work bridges clinical psychiatry with neuroscientific inquiry, particularly examining drug interactions in vulnerable populations. He has contributed to understanding serotonin toxicity from substances like bath salts and clozapine's cardiac risks.
