Paulien Strandberg is a Senior Lecturer at Lund University's Faculty of Engineering (LTH), specifically within the Division of Building Materials. She is actively engaged as a Profile Area member in both LTH's Circular Building Sector and Lund University's Nature-based future solutions initiatives. Her research focuses on biobased building materials derived from agricultural and marine resources, with particular expertise in hemp-lime composites.
Dr. Strandberg's research interests center on sustainable building materials, with special emphasis on biobased alternatives for construction. Her work spans material properties of hemp-lime composites, moisture management in bio-based insulation, historical building preservation using natural materials, and the application of agricultural residues in construction.
