Paula Viana is a Professor at the Polytechnic of Porto and a Researcher at INESC TEC, where she leads the Multimedia Communications Technology Area. She holds a PhD in multimedia content management from the University of Porto. Her research focuses on networked audiovisual systems, content management, immersive media, and interactive technologies. She has led INESC TEC's participation in national/EU projects, organized workshops like the Immersive Media Experiences series (ACM MM), and reviews for journals/conferences.
