Paula Thompson

Paula Thompson is an Associate Professor in the Teacher Education Department at the University of Nebraska at Kearney's College of Education. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Studies with a specialization in Special Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, an M.A. in Early Childhood Education from UNK, and a B.A. in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from UNK.

Dr. Thompson's academic work focuses on special education pedagogy, early childhood development, and inclusive teaching practices. Her professional interests include teacher preparation programs and evidence-based interventions for diverse learners.

She joined the UNK faculty in 2011 and teaches courses in special education methods and early childhood education principles.
