Paula Misiewicz

Dr. Paula Misiewicz is a Senior Lecturer in Soil and Water Management at Harper Adams University, affiliated with both the Agriculture and Environment Department and the Engineering Department. She teaches modules such as Global Agricultural Production, Soil Use and Farm Infrastructure, and Soil and Water Management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research focuses on soil-tyre interactions, traffic and tillage dynamics, and precision farming technologies. Current projects include field-scale experiments on tyre inflation pressure optimization, controlled traffic farming, and deep/shallow tillage systems.

Professional affiliations include membership in the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), the Institution of Agricultural Engineers (IAgrE), and the International Soil Tillage Research Organization (ISTRO). She actively contributes to research groups such as the Harper Institute of Technology and Agroecology for Sustainable Food Systems.
