Paula Delerme

Paula Delerme is an Adjunct Associate Professor in Genetic Counseling at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. She is a licensed clinical genetic counselor specializing in prenatal genetics, with over 15 years of experience in maternal-fetal medicine and research settings.

Her career spans roles at Tufts Medical Center, Boston Children's Hospital, and currently as a Senior Genetic Counselor at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She focuses on patient care and mentorship, actively supporting diversity through the Minority Genetics Professionals Network (MGPN) and Boston Minority Genetic Counselors (BMGC).

Her research aligns with reproductive genetics, particularly in cell-free DNA screening and chromosomal abnormalities, as evidenced by her conference presentations on topics such as mixoploidy, Meckel-Gruber syndrome, and MSAFP interpretation.
