Paul Wright is a Lecturer at the School of Business and Creative Industries, renowned for his work as a BAFTA-winning filmmaker. His career spans acclaimed short films, feature films like FOR THOSE IN PERIL, and the documentary ARCADIA. Current projects include CUCKOO (fiction) and THE GOD SPOT (documentary), both developed with Barry Crerar Productions. His research explores themes of environmental consciousness and land relationships through cinematic narratives.
Education: National Film and Television School (NFTS) graduate.
Research Interests: Focus on documentary filmmaking, archival techniques, and the intersection of cinema with environmental and socio-political issues. Contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through explorations of land use and ecological awareness.
