Paul Wilson is a PhD Candidate in New Testament and Christian Origins at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on migration studies in the Book of Acts. He concurrently serves as an Associate Lecturer at the Scottish Baptist College (affiliated with the University of the West of Scotland) and a Visiting Lecturer at the London School of Theology. He holds editorial roles as Reviews Editor for the Scottish Bulletin of Evangelical Theology. His work bridges biblical scholarship and contemporary social issues, particularly refugee advocacy and interfaith dialogue.

Research Interests: Paul’s interdisciplinary analysis of Acts through migration frameworks explores how mobility shaped early Christian narratives. He critiques modern theological assumptions using ancient migration patterns, advocating for ethical engagement with refugees. His work intersects biblical exegesis, social sciences, and contemporary theology.
Teaching & Conferences: Teaches undergraduate theology modules and has presented at major conferences such as the Tyndale Fellowship (2022–2024) and British New Testament Society (2022–2023). His 2024 LERU TRS seminar highlighted Acts as migration literature.
Publications: Recent articles address refugee theology, Paul’s hermeneutics, and migration in Acts. Upcoming works include analyses of Paul’s handkerchiefs and Barnabas’s identity dynamics.
