Dr. Paul Wilson Chamberlain is a Professor and Director of the Institute of Christian Apologetics at Trinity Western University (TWU). He holds a PhD in Philosophy (Marquette University, 1990) and an MDiv (Trinity International University, 1981). His teaching focuses on Culture & Christianity, Leadership, Ethics, Philosophy of Religion, and Apologetics. He has authored influential books like Why People Don’t Believe (2011) and Can We Be Good Without God? (1996), and co-edited Everyday Apologetics (2020). His research explores ethics, religious pluralism, bioethics, and the intersection of faith with modern secularism.
Dr. Chamberlain has held leadership roles, including Canadian Executive Director of Ravi Zacharias Ministries. He actively engages in public debates, media appearances, and conferences, addressing topics like religious violence, moral persuasion, and social justice. His awards include the Marquette University Graduate Teaching Fellowship (1987–1990) and recognition for his writing on bioethical issues.
He teaches over 30 courses across departments such as Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Leadership, including advanced topics like Christian Theism & Postmodernism and Problem of Evil. His work bridges academic rigor with practical application, emphasizing ethical leadership and interfaith dialogue.
