Dr. Joseph Okello serves as Professor of Philosophy at Asbury Theological Seminary, specializing in Christian religion philosophy. Previously, he taught at the University of Kentucky, Asbury University, and Scott Christian University, establishing expertise in methodological naturalism, logic, and ethics.

Dr. Okello's research critically examines materialist accounts of evil and naturalism through a Judeo-Christian lens. His publications—including A History and Critique of Methodological Naturalism and Evil and Pain: A Critique of the Materialist Account of Evil—explore truth theories, theodicy, and biblical preaching methodologies, reflecting his dual focus on philosophical rigor and theological application.
