Paul Wehman

Paul Wehman, Ph.D., serves as Professor in Counseling and Special Education and Interim Director of the Rehabilitation Research Training Center at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Education. His pioneering work in supported employment has impacted disability services globally. He holds a Ph.D. in behavioral disabilities/rehabilitation psychology from the University of Wisconsin.

Research Focus

Wehman's scholarship addresses transition from school to adulthood for individuals with disabilities, including autism, brain injury, and developmental disabilities, with emphasis on employment policy, assistive technology, and educational interventions.
