Paul Roberts

Professor Paul Roberts is an interventional electrophysiologist affiliated with the Southampton Hospitals Charity and the Trust since 1996. He specializes in device implantation (pacemakers, ICDs, cardiac resynchronisation devices) and catheter ablation for abnormal heart rhythms.

Education:

• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP, 2000)

His research focuses on advancing pacemaker technology, including pioneering leadless pacemakers like the Micra device. He has authored over 110 peer-reviewed publications and contributed to six book chapters. His clinical expertise spans cardiac rhythm management and interventional procedures.
