Paul Resnick is the Michael D. Cohen Collegiate Professor at the University of Michigan School of Information and Director of the Center for Social Media Responsibility. He is also a Visiting Scholar at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. His research focuses on reducing affective polarization through algorithmic interventions that bridge divides in social media content.
He currently explores content selection strategies to connect audiences with differing viewpoints. His work intersects technology governance, ethical algorithms, and media responsibility.
