Paul Omodt is an Adjunct Faculty member in Emerging Media at the University of St. Thomas, where he teaches undergraduate and MBA courses in communications and journalism. A communications strategist with extensive experience in crisis management, Omodt founded Omodt & Associates Critical Communications and has advised on major regional news events including the I-35W bridge collapse.
His expertise includes crisis communication planning, media relations strategy, reputation management, public affairs communication, and strategic messaging. Omodt brings practical industry experience to the classroom.
Omodt has been recognized as a PRSA Fellow (2019), the organization's highest honor. His research collaborations with Dr. Michael Porter have been presented at national conferences and published in industry publications. He maintains active membership in IABC and PRSA.
