Paul Millett is an Associate Professor and Associate Department Head of Curriculum in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Arkansas. His academic journey began with a B.E. in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University, followed by M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
- Research Interests: Computational materials science, computational fluid dynamics, numerical methods, parallel computing, and materials design for energy and biomedical applications.
- Teaching Interests: Computer methods, materials science, numerical methods, and computational materials science.
Dr. Millett's research focuses on flow behavior of complex fluids in confinement, nanoparticle self-assembly in multi-phase liquids, and computational modeling of soft matter systems. His work has been funded by prestigious organizations including the National Science Foundation, the US Department of Energy, 3M, and specialized centers like the Center for Advanced Surface Engineering.
