Paul McEllistrem is an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law and an attorney at McEllistrem, Fargione, Rorvig & Moe, P.A. He graduated from the University of Minnesota (B.A., 1989) and William Mitchell College of Law (J.D., 1994 cum laude), where he specialized in personal injury and civil trial law.

His legal expertise includes automobile insurance coverage, and he has authored law review publications for the Mitchell Hamline Law Review. He co-edited the Minnesota Motor Vehicle Accident Deskbook. In 2016, he received the Minnesota Lawyer – Attorney of the Year Award for securing a $5.6 million jury verdict. He was also honored with the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Professional Excellence Award.
Paul was appointed to the Minnesota Supreme Court's No-Fault Arbitration Standing Committee (2006-2014) and has taught No-Fault Insurance Law at Mitchell Hamline since 1998. Since 2007, he has worked as a neutral in mediations and arbitrations, balancing this with his practice representing personal injury clients, including victims of the 35W Bridge Collapse.
