Paul MacDonald is a Professor of Political Science at Wellesley College. His research centers on international relations, with specific emphasis on American foreign policy, colonial resistance dynamics, and status competition in global politics. He co-authored Networks of Domination: The Social Foundations of Peripheral Conquest in International Politics (Oxford University Press, 2014) and contributes regularly to leading journals like American Political Science Review and International Security.
