Paul L. Tipton is the Eugene Higgins Professor of Physics at Yale University, leading experimental research in particle physics via the ATLAS experiment at CERN's LHC. His work focuses on Higgs boson quantum number measurements using tau lepton decays and advanced neural networks, alongside developing radiation-hard silicon detectors for the upgraded ATLAS tracker at Yale's Wright Lab.
