Paul Kohl is a Professor of Creative Media at Loras College, where he has been teaching since 1995. His academic work focuses on film studies, rock and roll history, media analysis, scriptwriting, and various aspects of popular culture. He has contributed to publications such as Popular Music and Society and the Journal of Popular, and previously served as the comics area chair for the Midwest Popular Culture Association.
