Paul Joseph Dyson

Paul Joseph Dyson is a Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Basic Sciences (SB) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). He leads the Laboratory of Organometallic and Medicinal Chemistry (LCOM) within the Institute of Chemical Sciences and Engineering (ISIC). Dyson's research focuses on organometallic chemistry, catalysis, and materials science, particularly in the development of sustainable energy materials and medicinal applications of metal complexes. He has received numerous awards, including the Werner Prize from the Swiss Chemical Society and the Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher distinction. His academic roles include overseeing SB's strategic direction and teaching chemistry at both graduate and doctoral levels.
