Paul Guay is an Adjunct Associate Professor at ArtCenter College of Design, specializing in screenwriting and film. A part-time faculty member, he has taught courses like 'Screenwriting: What’s the Story?' and 'Screenwriting: Adventures in Shorts,' earning the 2019 Great Teacher Award. His films, including Liar, Liar and The Little Rascals, have collectively grossed over $500 million. He is also a sought-after script consultant and mentor, collaborating with institutions like Film Connection and Taliesin Nexus.
Education
Guay graduated Cum Laude from Pomona College with a double major in English and Philosophy, blending literary analysis with creative writing.
Research & Projects
His work spans screenwriting, directing, and producing, with notable projects like Liar, Liar (sixth-highest-grossing comedy at release) and Mouse Hunt (Saturn Award nominee). Current projects include adapting one of his films into a stage musical and co-writing The Affordable [Redacted], a crime comedy based on a true story.
