Professor Paul Giles holds an Honorary Professorship in the Discipline of English and Writing at the University of Sydney's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. He earned his BA and DPhil from the University of Oxford and has held roles including Director of the Rothermere American Institute at Oxford (2003-2008) and President of the International American Studies Association (2005-2007).
